windows is saying Im not protected

Hi I have Mcafee antivirus security suite and it say's that Im protected but The windows security is saying that my virus protection is not being detected.... How can I fix this problem?

Is Mcafee updated?

The windows security centre says the "not protected" if:

1. You don't have an AV on the system.
2. AV isn't updated.
