My Windows XP English Pro just crashed, and so now I'm resorting to using Ubuntu. Dragonmaster_Jay said that its possible to delete and install Windows XP again using a partition manager. Only trouble is, how am I supposed to use one? Can you recommend a good one for me? And also give me a step by step guide?

Thanks a million! Thank You!

Hello,

You can install Windows or Unbuntu over the currency drive, do you have your XP disc?

Yes, but when I try to use it, the BSoD comes out as soon as it finishes loading all the items need for reinstallation/repair. Thats why I'm hoping a person could maybe get rid of WIndows on Ubuntu, then reinstall it using the cd.

Hello,

What is the error code of the BSOD? Did you try both full recovery and repair?
