Creative Fatal1ty Gaming USB Headset not working.

Hi i have put a post about this before that i thought i found the solution to my problem. Turns out my problem came back to haunt me and now it has worsen. My headset a few weeks back has had a series of episodes of it malfunctioning, now it does not turn on what so ever. Since it is USB i have tried it on multiple USB ports to test if my port is the problem, turns out it is not. Whichever USB port i connect it to, it does not make a difference, it just will not cooperate. It was working fine a few hours ago until i installed LG Super-Multi DVD-ROM into my computer with drivers and software that came with it. To what i know i highly doubt my DVD-ROM drivers/software would affect my headset in anyway. Please provide me with a solution as fast as possible, it would be greatly appreciated. My operating system is Windows Vista x64bit and i will name my computers specs below, thank you.

I have tried most of the steps on the tutorial links but it is still not working. I'm not sure if it is a software or hardware problem. The headset is the only USB device that is not working, my keyboard, mouse, USB ipod charger works fine.

Do you have a service manual for it?

Manual for the headset? If so i do not have a manual for it. It only comes with warranty information and quick start guide. Also whats weird is that whenever i plug it in no matter which port i try, there is no error message to address that the USB device is not recognized. I've read some forums into doing windows updates and unplugging power cords for a minute to reset the drivers, no luck at all. Could it be a power issue? Perhaps not enough power for it to start up?

The best idea would be to test it at another computer to see if it works.

I have tested it on my Sony VAIO laptop and installed drivers and it still does not work. I also tried 2 pair of different head phones and there is still no sound. So right now I'm stumped if its a power issue or bad motherboard drivers.

Might be. Try to re-install the drivers for the USB controller.

I have re-installed many things, Motherboard drivers, BIOS update, uninstalled/reinstalled headset drivers and installed new audio drivers. After all that nothing, now I'm trying to get audio with regular headphones and i cant any audio from it. Please assist me to fixing this problem, it has been giving problems for days now.

Seems the headset is corrupt. Since all other devices except for the headset, work on your machine. And the fact that the headset will not work on other machines, it means the headset no longer works.
