cant open any exe files, so cant open malwarebytes/ windows security center!

Hi
Basically for the last 2 days my laptop has been messing up!
It keeps popping up with alerts such as 'windows security alert' windows security center' 'antivirus system pro alert' telling me that my computer is infected.
Anyway i googled this and was advised to download malware bytes so i did this and yet when i installed it and tried to open it it comes up with something like 'the file mbam.exe is infected'
I cant open any other files either such as itunes, microsoft, basically cant really do much except the net.
I've tried renaming the files but that doesnt seem to work/ i am doing it wrong

Please download exeHelper from one of the two links.

• Double-click on exeHelper.com or exeHelper.scr to run the fix.
  
• A black window should pop up, press any key to close once the fix is completed.
  
• Post the contents of log.txt (Will be created in the directory where you ran exeHelper.com)
  

Note: If the window shows a message that says "Error deleting file", please re-run the program before posting a log - and post the two logs together (they will both be in the one file).

Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE

• Double click and run the installer.
  
• It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  
• After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  
• Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.

I downloaded the exehelper yet when i try to run it, the same error message is just showing 'applicaation cannot be executed. the file exehelper.com is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?'

I cant download anything to help me out!!

Is there anything else i could try?

Try running the other scr version of it.
