I have a 256 speed... and a simple 5 mb file takes 10 mins even in dap accelator... any softwares available or any tricks to boost the internet connection ?

Hello,

A 256 kilobit connection equals to 32 kilobytes, so you will download at about 32 kilobytes per second which would take about 3 minutes. The site which you are downloading from might be capping the speed at which you download.
