My Toshiba Laptop Turning Off Without Noticed

Hello! I have a problem dealing with my Toshiba Laptop. Whenever I go on my Mozilla Firefox 3.5 or any other programs, my computer shuts off without notice. Any ideas what's happening and have a cure. Thank you!
