Help/Yikes!
I regularly maintain my desktop computer - in fact i ran a series of Registry Mechanic routines and virus scans on it yesterday and it reports that everything's fine on all accounts.
But this morning i got a MS Windows message that my hard drive was in imminent danger of dying.
First, i have no confirmation that it really is a MS message. But i've backed up all my crucial data and i'm trying to find SCANDISC or some such Windows 7 equivalent.
Anyone else getting this message recently (i.e. is it a phish?)
and... Where's the disk scan utility these days?
Any help is hugely appreciated....
