I have Win XP Home Edition SP3. When I boot up the following message appears: "The system could not log you in. Make sure your User Name and Domain are correct, then type your password again". When I click OK the boot proceeds to the Welcome screen where I can click on my name and get in. I hate to admit it, but I was trying to get rid of the Welcome screen. Some where along the line I entered a User Name/Password to accomplish this. I was following online instructions, but obviously messed up.
I hope someone can help.
