iPhone 3Gs stuck in Recovery Mode :( No backup and do not want to restore

Soooo.... yeah, I've spent hours last night and hours today trying to figure out how to get my phone out of recovery mode. The funny thing about this issue is it happens a lot when jailbreaking, but I actually wasn't trying to jailbreak my phone when it went into recovery mode.
I don't have a backup of my data and I really do not need to lose my contacts as many of them I only know how to contact via the number stored in my phone. I REALLY need to get my phone working again ASAP without having to restore it and lose all that data (AT&T and Apple were both no help whatsoever when I went to see them today >_<)

Could you guys please help me figure out a solution to this as all I have tried has failed.

I'm not sure that we are allowed to post Jailbreak/Unlock things on our website, that violate Apple Product Terms.

You should ask Administrators for that step.

I actually want to AVOID any kind of jailbreaking since it will void the very expensive warranty. I just hope that using any other programs in an attempt to repair the phone does not also void the warranty.

Hm, if you stuck and you don't want to spend warranty. Only thing you can do is sending it back to Apple. I think you have software warranty too ? I'm not sure, we don't have Apple store here. iPhone is pretty strange thing, you should take it to Apple.
