Just exactly what does a restore/recovery disk do? I have a friend that has a HP Pavillion zd8000 & she needs to redo it, but the OS was pre-installed when she bought it so she doesn't have the disks. Will a restore/recovery disk do her any good? She is running XP Pro.

Hello,

The recovery disc will help you to restore the computer back to it's factory state if anything goes wrong with it.

Hi Guy's,
Not sure if this is the right place to ask, I did a full system recovery, I backed up everything and have been able to restore most files but I can not find my email and contacts for microsoft outlook..
