Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE

  • Double click and run the installer.
  • It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  • After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  • Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.

Can you try logging on the machine in Safe Mode?

it wont let me in Safe mode. blue screen of death. i can get into recovery console, but even that is screwed up. i was trying to delete the virus manually. but there are some files directory like "program Files" says access denied. if i can get into there i prob can manually delete it. but that is where i'm stuck

yeah, doing the same thing...Log in and then it automatically logs itself out and then freezes. But some kind of boot disk that is for this virus might work to fix it. i wish there was one.
