I downloaded and ran Malwarebyte's Anti Malware and it seemed to have taken care of the problem. But when I rebooted my computer Antivirus System Pro was back. How do I get rid of it for good?

Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE

  • Double click and run the installer.
  • It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  • After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  • Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.

This line: "O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [hetvccup] C:\Users\William\AppData\Local\dtmlbh\qhywsysguard.exe" was not present. I think my Norton 360 picked it up (it picked up something this morning). But the other line: "O2 - BHO: (no name) - {02478D38-C3F9-4efb-9B51-7695ECA05670} - (no file)" was there. Here is the Malwarebytes log.
