Hello,

My Windows Movie Maker for some reason is acting weird. At the beginning whenever i used to save a file that was 250 mb file or something..it used to take me about an 1hr to save but recently it takes like 7-9 hrs to save. Can you help as to why this is happening.....please. My Windows Movie Maker is version 2.1 that came installed with Windows XP Service Pack 2 but now I have Windows XP service Pack 3...I really need help

Hello,

Movie Maker 2.1 should work with SP3. Maybe you can try the earlier Movie Maker - version 2.0:

I have 2.1.......Movie Maker is just taking 400-600 minutes to save small file that is 1hr long which never happened before. I tried the software on acomputer having vista and it is the same problem....What can/should I do?/

I'm not sure, because I don't use Windows Movie Maker, could there be a fault in video? Have you tired saving another video?

yes I did....I have saved many files similar to these before that have saved quickly without problems. Also I have noticed that recently while saving a file on Movie Maker it will after a while suddenly turn off computer and then when i restart it, it tells me my audipo sound card hardware is not installed
