the windows wireless service is not running on this computer among other stuff.

What troubleshooter? what software is it?

the troubleshooter is the basic one that comes with windows i guess. i right click the little internet connection bars at the bottom right, and it says troubleshoot problem.

i have to do it all the time to restore the internet connection.

Just restarted it again, and had to run the windows trouble shooter to get the wireless service to start up. so whenever i start the lap top up, i can't use the internet until i do that

bizarre it just started doing this out of the blue.

Log looks fine, not too sure why the wireless service wont activate on startup and keeps turning off on shutdown from the way you describe it.

If the machine is fine and you can cope with doing that for now, any other problems still remaining?

When i turned it on today it said the "gfxui.exe" was crashed or something? Do you know what that means?

Yeah, it's a file for graphics. Did it only happen once?

yeah it didnt happen the last time i just restarted it, i just had to run the troubleshooter a couple of times for the internet.
I don't restart it very much cause the problems with the internet, i notice its running like crap lately though. oh well.
