Windows XP wont start

I did an automatic download the other night and when I rebooted my PC I got what I've seen referred to online as the "Blue Screen of Death"... The Stop Mssg reads

Stop 0x0000007e (0xc000001D, 0x80537008, 0xf89d0508, 0xf89d0204) Any help???

Did the automatic updates, shut it down, went to start the next day and this is what I got
