Unknown problem

My problem is:
I can connect to the internet and surf the web using firefox, however that is as far as my computer will allow me to go. I can not connect to the itunes store, game servers for trackmania, and i can not install WoW using the game client. these programs give me an error related to not being connected to the internet, while I'm browsing the web at the same time. I've made firewall exceptions for the programs thinking that might be the problem but that didnt change anything. I ran full scans using AVG, and Malwarebytes and they both came up empty. I ran 'netsh winsock reset catalog' in cmd and it prompts me to run it as administrator, however I'm logged in as administrator. If anyone has any ideas that would be amazing

• Choose "Do a system scan only"

Remove the Proxy setting in Internet Explorer and/or in FireFox.

In Internet Explorer

1. Tools Menu -> Internet Options -> Connections Tab ->Lan Settings > uncheck "use a proxy server" or reconfigure the Proxy server again in case you have set it previously.
   

In Firefox

1. Tools Menu -> Options... -> Advanced Tab -> Network Tab -> "Settings" under Connection > Choose "No Proxy"
   
2. Click the apply button and restart that computer in normal mode.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
  
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  

Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.
If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.
