Cant get hijackthis or run malwarebytes to get rid of Securi

I am computer illiterate compared to you pros and I have absolutely no idea what to do to get rid of the Security System. I have never seen anything like this. I can't startup in safe mode, it redirects me, I can't download most programs and if I can, I can't run them. Only IE works. Please help. On one of my computer user accounts I saw these shortcuts that I think are part of the virus....IDK. Please use laymans terms and help me. I have already read a recent article on here about this and it did not work for me since I can't run or do anything. I am sick of this and I have to fill out college info and this is driving me crazy. I know you guys hear this a lot, but please help me. -Bruce

Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE

• Double click and run the installer.
  
• It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  
• After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  
• Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.
  

it gets to the point where it says "Do you want to run this software?" and I click "run" and when I click on that, a screen pops up real quick for like a millisecond(I am guessing this is the user agreement or something) and disapears and that is it. I was hopeful that that would work, but I am afraid it didnt. WHat else can I do?

So close! The user agreement flashed on the screen and then disappeared. This virus seems to be getting smarter by the second. It shuts everything down. I do appreciate your persistence and hope you will continue to help me find a solution that works.

I clicked START and did a search for "system security" and deleted all the files that came up and then I tried to open the link you gave me again and this time hijackthis worked, but it wont let me open up the notepad with the "report."

I did look on another thread and saw that you told a guy to delete one that was like "02 worm radar" and I deleted that one, but I did not see any other ones that you told other people to delete on my scan results. I still have the "virus", but that is some progress.

Do you have the Notepad log file, just can't open it?

Try opening it with Wordpad instead of Notepad. You can right click > Open with...

Choose Wordpad if it's on that list.

I right clicked on it and went to open with and all that it does is have the hour glass come up for a second and nothing else.

Can you transfer the log via USB to another clean working machine and post from there?

I don't currently have my laptop or access to another computer. I was thinking, could I send the log to your email or if you dont want to give me your email I could create one and PM you the login info and you could open the hijackthis log attachment. I sent myself a copy of it so it would work, but I cant open it on this computer.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
  
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  

Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.

I just posted my MBAM log ^^. It looks as if System security is gone!!! However, my computer crashed shortly after restarting it. It was a blue screen and told me that it was doing a "physical memory dump" or something. Any ideas? I sent the error report to Windows and Mozilla popped up saying this:

• When Hijack This opens, click "Open the Misc Tools section"
  
• Then select "Open Uninstall Manager"
