nsis error

Hi,

I am having a problem: On my vista business laptop, whenever I try download a program, i keep getting nsis errors "installer integrity check failed" its happening when i install ccleaner, java, and much more. when i install java i get "invalid cabnit file" Its really annoying

ANy help would be very much appreciated.

This most likely happened because the file is corrupted or because it is not downloaded properly. Download the files without using any download manager or download the latest versions.

I don't think its the program because its happening with every file I try and install. So far its happend to java, limewire, java devalopment kit, ccleaner... I'm downloading them through firefox, and ie7. I'm not using any download manager.

First, clear your broswer cache and try again.

If it still happens it must be due to a security software. Temporarily disable your antivirus software, if you have any firewalls running, especially Windows firewall and nVidia firewall installed, disable them.

If this still happens after following the steps above, I suspect you have malware running on your system. Post your HijackThis log in a new topic here:

thanks for your reply. I downloaded opera browser and downloading files seems to work again. I still can' t get Java devalopment kit though, which is annoying. Seeing as I can now install limewire, ccleaner, and a few others.
