Cannot Delete a Folder or File in Recycle Bin

If you cannot empty the Recycle Bin or delete a file or folder from there, your Recycle Bin is corrupted. This tutorial will show you how to reset your recycle bin.

Open the Start Menu >> In the search box, type cmd >> Right click cmd (at top) and click Run as administrator.



In the elevated command prompt, type rd /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin and press Enter.



Close command prompt window and right click an empty area of the desktop and click Refresh.

I finally got rid of the 5 gigs of junk lol

I used to have this problem so this tut should come in handy in future.
