ROM file

I download a game which has many ROM file which I cant install it. What Should I open those ROM file with? It would be great it u can give me the link to download it just like last time when someone gave me the link to download the 7-Zip.

A .ROM file extension is associated with ROM emulation files or update files.

These are generally images of read-only video game cartridges or on computer chips and read using bespoke ROM device readers specific to the device being read. These ROM images are then played on PCs using emulations software.

May I know what game is this? Or what platform is it for so that I may find an emulator for you? For example, Playstation, Commodore etc.

The game is King Of Fighters 2002. I dont know about the platform but the host website is www.coolrom.com

Here, try this Nebula v2.25b NeoGeo Emulator.

The emulator is compressed with 7zip, I guess you should know what to do.

I cant download it when i click on Download, It brought me to another page which says different ip.

I download it but I dont know how to install it. There are so many files unlike the 7-zip. If possible could you tell me which is the right file to open so to install?

The emulator need not be installed, just run it. It is in the nebula225b folder, the file is called nebula, it has a dark blue icon and the file size is 780KB.

Wait for the countdown and then press the I Agree button. After that you can emulate the game by, >> Emulation >> ROM Directories and browse for you ROM file.

After I browse for the file, nothing happens. And when I go to ROM Directories to browse for the file, it only has the option close.

You have to click the yellow button beside one of the bars to browse for it.

I all ready browse for the file and nothing happens. What should I do next

I tried the bsnes_v036. I load KOF 2002 and it says loaded at the bottom of the screen but nothing happen and the screen is black.

Did you try the other emulators I provided? The emulators I provided earlier should work, probably a bad download of the game. By the way, what is the version of bsnes are you using?

It is version 036.

hmm.. i've got that game before in the past. King of fighters 2002.
it was in a cd. the provided emulator is neogeo like what the doc said the first time. so far i feel it's the best emulator to run roms like this.

maybe the settings were wrong when u try to load the roms into the emulator?

a little off topic but neogeo was one of my favourite when i was young, shock trooper, metal slug and many more... but different king of fighters series games run on several different type of machines. Needa find the correct 1.
