HI,

There was this laptop of my client which was having OS Issues, So I reinstalled Win 7 on C: Drive and did not touch other two drives. The issue is that some of the file are green in color and these are the files which cannot open.
Error:  Access Denied, You need Administrator Privilege, the new user is Administrator.

I searched online and tried to take ownership by going to --Properties--Security--Permission. No success, Please help me out.

Thanks in Advance

PS: old OS also was WIN 7

Encrypted file or folder name is shown in green color. Not having a backed-up recovery key can result in irrevocable loss of encrypted data. Backing up a recovery key helps ensure that encrypted data can be recovered in the event that the user holding the EFS encryption certificate is not able to decrypt the data.
