I installed a new router on my network, which allows me to control all devices on my network, wireless or wired. Since installing and setting up this router I get this error when trying to access any of my websites on my web server.

the connection to the server was reset while the page was loading

When I use a device that is not on my net work to view one of my websites they load correctly and with out errors.  I have tried 4 different computer wired and wireless and I have tried 4 different browser, all with the same results.

I can control the dns server for each device through my router and none of them make any difference. This had worked for me for the last 10 years on several different routers
but something in this router is blocking my access.  Sometimes when I load the page I can see it flash on then go off to the connection was reset.  What should I be looking for?
My router logs says that I am able to access my web site, (therentalstore dot us) and I don't see any thing in my server logs.

windows 10
windows server 2010 IIS

Have you installed latest firmware to your router.
Use CCleaner program to delete all temporary internet files which includes cookies.
Can you ping your server?

Yes I updated the firmware on the router.  They did give me a temporary fix,  which I added my website url with my local ip address to the host file on the router, and that makes it work.

Are you trying to port forward your minecraft server?

yes..  The router I just purchased is blocking it somehow.  I believe it is in the dns, since adding my server and IP address to the host file on the router I can now access my website.
I need to figure out how I can use the host file to access the minecraft server.

I can only found port forwarding for pcWRT TORONTO-N, see if this tutorial apply to your router.

there are setting in the networking tab to do static routes and port forwarding.  It works, because I can access my web sites from out side my network.  It is just in side my network the routers dns setting
block my websites.  By adding to the host file they now work on my local network.

Are you using your ISP DNS servers?

descriptionCan't access my server on my network EmptyRe: Can't access my server on my network

no.. that is a feature of this router, I can use different dns servers to filler network traffic.  but that isn't the problem either,  I have tried using 4 different dns servers and get the same results.
The problem is in the router, I have had a server running on my network for over 15 years.

Do these setting for my UPnP look correct?  Could this be my problem, I am now having a restricted nat issue when playing online gaming?

UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) is used to dynamically open ports on your router so you don't have to do manual port mapping. You should keep the default settings for the UPnP.

That seem to be my problem, I am having to do manual port mapping.  What I need to know what should the setting be? Default for this router is off, when I enabled UPnP non of the setting were set.

What happens when you just enable the UPnP without the manual settings. Check history of the router to see if UPnP works.
