Will Norton Security Center cause conflict with Avast antivirus?

I removed Norton Antivirus. Should I also remove the Norton Security Center? Usually my grandkids help with this but they are in college right now.

Yes uninstall all Norton related programs as most antivirus programs will conflict with each other and maybe see one another as a threat to your system.

Norton Security Center doesn't exist(it is a section of their website and not a product) unless you mean Norton Security Scan? Google yields no results.
