Hello everyone,
So here is my question I recently made the switch from Ubuntu to Slackware, since the installation process I have been trying to figure out how to disable the tap-to click feature on my trackpad.
I have checked the mouse setting in the application menu, but that feature does not seem to be installed.
I have also tried editing the xorg.conf to suggested settings but it all seem in vein.
If any one has any suggestions on how to resolve this issue it would be greatly appreciated.
I hope that this is the right forum for this topic.

I do not know if this will make any difference but the laptop that i installed Slackware on is a Acer Aspire 5100

Thank you and have a nice day

**Solved**
synclient MaxTapTime=0 which I set as a startup command
