THINK POINT INFECTION - No start button even in Safe Mode

I have read to use task manager to end the process of hotfix.exe. After I do that, the screen is blank. I can't get to the start button even when I open in safe mode. What's the next step so that I can get to the internet?

• Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.

• Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
  
  
  
  • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
    
  • Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) and paste (Edit->Paste) the contents of these files, one at a time
