I can only start in safe mode

This is my first time using this website so im not sure if this is the right section or not.

Today i was using my Pc and everything was fine untill i got this internet security 2010 pop up after that it didnt let me do anything else i tried opening the system restore but it wouldn't let me, it kept saying that the file was infected so i booted my computer on safe mode and i virus scanned and i think it removed the virus but now it wont let me boot on normal mode only on safe mode i have no clue what to do so any help would be appreciated

Last thing, i'm supposed to be getting a windows 7 cd tomorrow...not sure if that will do anything
