hi guys,
on my computer im using windows xp professional and it wont let me boot it up. i have a partitioned hard disk and for some reason the other day i uninstalled samsung mobile software and i didnt have the choose of multiboooting which i usually did, it just booted to the operating system on the c drive which i do not use, i usually use the operating system on the d drive. i download partition magic and did a stupid thing by setting the d drive from logical to primary so both drives are now primary, which i found out is a big no go as you are only supposed to have one primary drive on a disk. Now because of this i cant boot up any operating system and get the error:
searching for boot record from IDE-0... ok
remove disks or other media
press any key to restart
searching for boot record form floppy... not found
searching for boot record form cd/dvd-0... not found
searching for boot record form cd/dvd-1... not found
any help as to overcome this problem? would i have to re-install the operating system or reformat the drive?
