Heres another question I have that hopefully someone can answer :smile2:

When using a server os - wether that be windows server, windows home server, or a normal os - vista, 7 etc as a server, what is best practice?
Leave the server logged in to an administrator account, a standard account, or not logged in at all?

anyone using windows home server here? how do you leave it on?

Hi, i don't using Windows Server but my network administrator do.

I asked for your question and god pretty nice answer Smile... Just leave it logged in as Administrator, put Comodo Firewall, McAfee and turn on System Restore. Also, he suggest to turn off Power Saver Management so you'r computer never turn off.. And, be sure you bought UPS.

He also had one server which he using as secondary and it's on Standard account without Firewall on sharing with Primary Smile... Also always ON and without monitor.

For normal Windows, it's you choice Smile... Just put nice Firewall, Antivirus and keep it safe and fast. I think this is answer you were looking for.
