Auto Rebooting

Hello Guys .. how are you ?
i got windows 7 ultimate 64bit the problem started 1 month ago or something ..so i though its the power supply or the fan .. so i changed both of them today but it keeps restarting but approximatly on an interval of time of " 4 hours " or something not every 5 mins . it takes along to restart but its just so annoying . so i dont know what to do ..

got some ideas from friends.. please i need help in this
first idea : install a fresh new copy of windows " but thats too boring i got alot of programs ON "
2nd idea : is the processor

note : i will be up for any detail you ask for . just post how to get what are you asking for and i will bring it to you .

It primarily points towards a hardware issue.

I suspect overheating.But there could be other reasons too.

*Please download CPUID HWMonitor from here.
http://www.cpuid.com/download/hwmonitor/HWMonitor_115_setup.exe

*Once it is installed ,allow it to run.
*Please copy and paste its entire content in your next post.

2) Next, lets just make sure you have "Automatically Restart" disabled.

* Type system in the search box after clicking Start. Choose System under the Control Panel heading in the list of results.
* In the task pane on the left, click the Advanced system settings link.
*Locate the Startup and Recovery section near the bottom of the window and click on the Settings button.
*In the Startup and Recovery window, locate and uncheck the check box next to Automatically restart.
*Click OK in the Startup and Recovery window.
*Click OK in the System Properties window.
*You can now close the System window.



3) Also, did you see any error message/BSOD or it just reboots like that.

ok i have done everything realted to step two which is disabling auto restart

3 ) no no errors appears it just reboots by its self with no errors at all

ok now my computer restarted and i had this blue screen with technical information down there
i cant remember its something like 0x0000089 i guess. so whats up with it ? :O

Okay.I need to see your minidump files.Please attach the minidump files in your next post.If you don't know how to do it, please read below.

*Navigate to your root drive (generally C:) containing windows folder.
*Double click windows icon and locate minidump folder.
*Inside the minidump folder, you will find dump files bearing a extension .dmp
*Attach these dump files in your next post.

i enterd to C and enter Windows folder then i cant do anything
where is that windows icon ? :O

*Here you will find your dump files.
*Please include them in your next post.

i don't have minidump folder in C-->Windows--> there is no minidump folder

Sorry for replying late.

Okay.Lets fix this first.

*Type system in the search box after clicking Start. Choose System under the Control Panel heading in the list of results.
* In the task pane on the left, click the Advanced system settings link.
*Locate the Startup and Recovery section near the bottom of the window and click on the Settings button
*Under Write Debugging Information, make sure it is selected to Small Memory Dumps.
*Also make sure you have Error Reporting enabled (Just click Error reporting button under Start up and Recovery section)

Next time when you would receive a BSOD, a dump file should be present.

Now coming to your original problem, this seems to be faulty.

Voltage 4 1.22 Volts [0x13] (+12V)

Your system shouldn't be running at that low voltage.But its also likely to be an inaccurate reading from HW Monitor. To clarify this, would you please download CPU -Z from here

*Please include CPU -Z log in your next post.

Also, would you be please let me know more about your PSU.

After analyzing your above log,the only thing which bothers me is

Voltage 4 1.22 Volts [0x13] (+12V)

That voltage is far low than the acceptable limit.(around 10V can be accepted)This indicates a bad power supply.As I already asked in my last post would you be please be kind enough to provide more info on your PSU.

Also, please follow the below instructions before we conclude a faulty power supply.

*Turn off your computer and remove the power cable (the one that connects to the psu at rear side of your chasis).
*Now press the power button (present on front panel of the chasis) for 30 seconds(Voltage dispersion)
*Remove the ATX connector pin from the motherboard.Make sure its end is properly cleaned and free from dust.
*Plug in the ATX connector into the motherboard.
*Plug in the power cord that you have removed in the first step.
*Turn on your computer and please post a CPUZ log again.

If the V4 reading again comes to be that low, then my next suggestion would be to have the PSU replaced.

i just bought a new power supply 2 days before and its restarting ! the old and new one got problems ? i started to think that it might be hardware conflict

btw how i can get more information about my power supply ?

Did you receive any error message/ BSOD or it just rebooted as usual.These dump files would not appear unless you get a BSOD.(sometimes they don't appear even after a BSOD)

Can you see a log of recent crash in the event viewer.To open event viewer,
* Click the Start button.
*In the Search box, type Event Viewer, and then, in the list of results, double-click Event Viewer.

how i can get more information about my power supply ?

You will have to open your chasis.It should be written on one of the side faces of your PSU.Please let me know the manufacturer name, model, wattage etc.

Sorry, I lost you in the middle.You didn't mention your PSU manufacturer and model number.

Also, please try to understand that sometimes it is easier to diagnose a problem by ruling out its causes one by one rather than wasting time and resources on investigating the cause.

By analyzing your CPU - Z log, I already acquainted you with my suspicion of a faulty PSU. So would you please be kind enough to try another working PSU and see if the problem still persists.

I already changed the PSU .. the problem started with the old one . so i changed it

UPDATE : today i re-installed windows and currently am testing it
till now 4 hours no restart .. thats so weird !
