When browsing, being redirected

Hi,

I have 2 issues in which I am not sure if they are related. The first issue is that when I go to www.myspace.com, I am given a "HTTP 400 Bad Request" or "This webpage cannot be found". I used to have the website linked to my toolbar along with facebook, youtube, etc. - those websited have not been affected so far.

The other issue that I am having is that when I browse while using Internet Explorer or Firefox, I am redirected. For example, if I type in earthquakes to the search engine, it will appear like the normal search. But when I click to go on any of those sites, it redirects me to saying I have a virus that needs to be taken care of or it will redirect me with advertisements of some sort.

I have used Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and it shows that nothing is infected. Hope this is enough info to fix the problem!

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

I clicked for the update and I received an error. The error told me to contact malwarebytes' Anti-Malware support team and when I went to www.malwarebytes.org, I was prompted with the same error as we did before which was "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".

When I clicked on the links you gave me, I was prompted with the same error as we did before which was "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". I tired to put the link into another window and it did the same thing.

Can you try another browser if you have another browser installed?

If not, can you download Combofix from another machine and carry it across?

I tried opening it from another computer and putting Combo fix on my external hard drive. When I went to open it, ut gave me a disclaimer saying that it was for private use only. Did I understand your instructions correctly? I'm not sure what to do.
