Microsoft products not working and can't reinstall...

My grandson decided yesterday was the day to slam the keys on my laptop and now I can't get my Outlook, Word, Excel and several other programs to open. I tried reinstalling but for some reason that didn't work either. Can you help??

Are there any error messages you could show us? Whenever I have a problem and I have an error message, I google that error message and that usually works pretty well for me
