Hi everyone,

Yes I am a newbie, I am currently experiencing problems with my internet connection or more so the ability to view or browse.

My modem works and I am able to ping site but the browser wont display.
I have used IE and Chrome but still not luck
Email can be received but I cant send them (STTP error time out) outlook.
I have removed Norton using the norton removal tool from their site.
I have done the winsock exe.
The proxy server tab is unchecked on the internet tools folder.
I have taken it to the local computer repair person and he shrugged his shoulders and gave me back my computer with a bill.

Any help at all will be greatly appreciated

Chris

Please download the Fix IE Utility to your desktop.

Before running the utility, make sure that all your Internet Explorer windows are closed!

  • Extract the contents of the .zip file to your desktop.
  • Double click the Fix IE Utility button to run the tool.
  • Click Run Utility
  • Click OK when you see 'Re-registered all files'
  • Open Internet Explorer and see how it works.
