My laptop has been down for some time due to a DC socket failure, its an Acer aspire 7720G. However once I got it back, it wouldn't connect to the internet, its not a router failure because the 2 other computers in the hose can connect, I hooked it up directly from the modem and installed all the updates, all my drivers are up to date (I tried the Start > Computer > Devise manager), I have installed and re installed a "Broadcom NetLink (TM) Giabit Ethernet, and tried the CMD reset IP ect. Im running on Vista and i dont know what to do now?!
