Email Hijaked

My daughter received an email containing a jpg image. She has Outlook 2007 and it is set up to show picture attachments in the preview pane. She then forwarded that email with image to several people. Everyone getting that forward from her reported that the same email has continued to arrive in their inbox for the past few hours, although she has only sent it once.

Her Sent Mail folder does not show even the original email she forwarded to her friends, but while looking at the Outbox the same email appeared in there waiting to be sent. Attempts to delete the email from the Outbox failed. I had her X out of Outlook and immediately the emails to everyone stopped.

She ran a virus scan on her computer that didn't turn up anything. Any ideas how to stop this problem??

Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE

• Double click and run the installer.
  
• It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  
• After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  
• Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.
