Playstation won't read movies

Is there anything I can do other than go get it repaired? It's been really slow reading other discs, too, and won't read my copy of Xenosaga, despite having no scratches. I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask even if there's nothing I can do...

You are talking about Playstation 2, right?

It is probably a corrupted eye. I recommend to have it serviced by Sony.

Oh, well. It works pretty well considering how old it is, so I'll just have to wait until the funds get here. Thanks for letting me know, though ^^
