Virus blocks McAfee Scanner and any other virus scanner

Hi, I have a problem where the McAfee scanner always reads that there is an error involving the on-demand scanner and whenever I try it manually. Ad-Aware also will not open and the Hijackthis is also blocked from completing its scan. I did however you the SystemLook and this is what its log said:

Important information about ComboFix

Before the download:

Troubleshooting ComboFix

Safe Mode:

If you still cannot get ComboFix to run, try booting into Safe Mode, and run it there.

(To boot into Safe Mode, tap F8 after BIOS, and just before the Windows
logo appears. A list of options will appear, select "Safe Mode.")

Re-downloading:

If this doesn't work either, try the same method (above method), but try to download it again, except name
ComboFix.exe to iexplore.exe, explorer.exe, or winlogon.exe.

Malware is known for blocking all "user" processes, except for its whitelist of system important processes such as iexplore.exe, explorer.exe, winlogon.exe.

Well, it looks like its not even letting me open up Bleepingcomputer after I've downloaded it. Every time I try to open some program it gives me this Security Warning message that says "Application cannot be executed. The file combofix.exe is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?" It doesn't matter if I choose yes or no, the message always disappears and then pops up later for other .exe things.

I'm also having trouble starting Safe Mode. I twice tried tapping F8 after and during the screen that has BIOS in the bottom right corner.

We have hit a dead end. Every file is infected. Please tell me when you have completed a reformat and reinstall.

Thanks for your help. I have tried to install my Vista OS disc, and I can intiate the process easy enough, but once it gets to the "Completing Installation" part, the progress bar at the bottom just sits without going any further for about an hour and then screen goes black and just leaves the cursor there. Albeit, I am using a Dell OS disc and I am installing it on a Gateway laptop but from what I hear a Dell OS disc is still ok to use. I have tried this twice and both times it has given the same result.

I would recommend to call support for the computer you are on. They may be able to supply recovery discs to help the process move along.
