Computer Doesn't Detect The Lan Port

I use the sager NP8662 previously I used lan connection to connect to my school network but I had some problems with my computer so i had to reinstall the Operating System and Drivers, since then my computer cannot detect the port, so i plug in the lan cable the computer doesn't recognise it. I have already updated my drivers and don't know what to do next. Any help is welcome, thanks alot

You might have two ports, so try connecting to the other one. Also, did you install your motherboard drivers?
