total security 2009

I found the instructions on how to deal with Total Security 2009 on your sight, but as stupid as it may sound there are some things I don't understand. It says: run installer, accept user agreement, then after Hijack This runs, do a system scan and save a log file, then copy and paste everything it found back here. Is the "system scan and save log file" option ON Total Security? And copy and paste back here - where does "back here" mean exactly? On your sight, or on my computer? I'm no computer guru and I'm afraid to try anything untill I fully understand all the instructions. I just hope my poor computer holds out long enough to use your help. Thanks!

Total Security is the malware, the instructions for the system scan refer to Hijack This.

Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE

• Double click and run the installer.
  
• It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  
• After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  
• Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.
