hi,

i need help on removing the total security 2009 that I belive its a virus that is not letting me do anything on my laptop. it states that all my files are infected!! I can not get in to the internet!!! i do have the mcfee antivirus but its not letting it start. what can i do so i can take this off my laptop?? please help!! Sad tearing

Please download Hijack This from here:
http://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/932rpd

Download and run. Then select "Do a system scan with logfile"
Copy and paste the log file back here.

It will not let me accsess the internet... so i would not be able to download the hijacker... please help Sad tearing

I see, then you are going to have to use another computer to saved files on a flash drive or CD so you can install them on the infected computer.
