Mozilla issues first Firefox 3.6 alpha version

Mozilla has released the first alpha version of Firefox 3.6, a browser with speed improvements and new features the organization hopes to finalize faster than its predecessor.

"Unlike the year that passed between Firefox 3 and Firefox 3.5, we expect that this 3.6 release will be released in a small number of months," Mozilla evangelist Chris Blizzard said in a blog post Friday.

it seems as fast as 3.5.2

There should only be minor tweaks and I think that the difference will only be noticed on fast computers and internet connection. To the ordinary user it should seem the same since milliseconds don't really make a difference or a few seconds.

I'm going to wait for a beta version before I test it out

Is this the one with the cool aero GUI effects on it?
