Hi guys,
I'm having a few issues with my fathers laptop. I suspect he has deleted something which is preventing him getting access to the internet. He is running a vista laptop (1Gb, 2Ghz dual core Intel range processor). I ran through the usual set of debugging options and found that it wont even ping the loopback address. I have a valid connection to the router and even to the internet through some services. It seems like something is blocking 80, but no firewalls are enabled. I've tried rebuilding the TCP/IP stack and reset winsocks, but nothing seems to change the basic problem. It was at that point that i found a similar posting recommending you guys
On to the log..

I should note that although the software for a vodafone go-anywhere internet dongle is installed, I'm working on wireless at the moment.
Any insight you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
