WINBLUESOFT GOT ME LAST NIGHT..I NEED HELP!! PLEASE!!!???

THIS VIRUS TOTALLY TOOK OVER MY COMPUTER. ALL I'M ABLE TO DO IS LOG ONTO THE INTERNET. I CANT OPEN ANY PROGRAMS. NOT TASK MANAGER OR ANYTHING. CANT INSTALL ANY OF THE MALWARE REMOVER. WHAT CAN I DO???

I cant open a notepad file. I cant open anything. I cant go to Comman Prompt or anything.

Can you open Wordpad?

I cant open Word Pad either. The virus is terminating the program. I cant open anything but my Mozilla Firefox Browser. Where does this stuff come from? I tried to install the Malware but it terminates the installation.

I installed it but when I tried to run it ..it reads.. npp.5.4.2 has been terminated.

Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :

• Restart your computer
  
• After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
  
• Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
  
• Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
  
• Choose your usual account.
  

Can you run Notepad in safe mode?

OKAY I RESTARTED IT IN SAFE MODE..I WAS ABLE TO OPEN NOTEPAD. SHOULD I ENTER THE TEXT ON NOTEPAD LIKE YOU TOLD ME EARLIER? AND SAVE IT.

Reboot again, and do the same again to enter the F8 menu, but this time, choose safe mode WITH NETWORKING so you have internet access.

Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE

• Double click and run the installer.
  
• It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  
• After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.

You did it right, but Notepad interfered. I need you to switch off Word Wrap.

Open the log again, and go to the "Function" menu and untick "Word Wrap", then re-post the log.

I see you have Viewpoint software installed.

Viewpoint Manager is considered as foistware instead of malware since it is installed without users approval but doesn't spy or do anything "bad". Read this article: here and here

I suggest you remove the program now.

If you choose to follow my recommendation then follow these instructions.

• Click Start >> Control Panel.
  
• Under the Programs click Uninstall a Program
  
• Highlight the following:
  
  Viewpoint Manager (remove only)
  Viewpoint Media Player
  Viewpoint Toolbar
  
  
• Click on the Uninstall/Change button at the top.
  

Next,

• Open HijackThis
  
• Choose "Do a system scan only"
  
• Check the boxes in front of these lines:

  1. If you are using Firefox, make sure that your download settings are as follows:
  
  * Tools->Options->Main tab
  * Set to "Always ask me where to Save the files".
  
  2. During the download, rename Combofix to Combo-Fix as follows:
  
  
  
  
  
  3. It is important you rename Combofix during the download, but not after.
  4. Please do not rename Combofix to other names, but only to the one indicated.
  5. Close any open browsers.
  6. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
  
  
• We need to disable your local AV (Anti-virus) before running Combofix.

• Double click on ComboFix.exe.
  
• Follow the prompts. NOTE:
  
• ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed.
  ***It's strongly recommended to have the Recovery Console installed before doing any malware removal.***
  
  **Please note: If the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is already installed, ComboFix will automatically proceed with its scan.
  
  
  
• The Recovery Console provides a recovery/repair mode should a problem occur during a Combofix run.
  
  
  
  
• Allow ComboFix to download the Recovery Console.
  
• Accept the End-User License Agreement.
  
• The Recovery Console will be installed.
  
• You will then get this next prompt that asks if you want to continue the malware scan, select yes
  
  
  
  
• Allow combofix to run
  
• Post C:\combofix.txt back here.
  
  Note:
  Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.
