Virus won't let me open antivirus software

I have a virus on my computer that I got when I downloaded a computer program torrent. Well, I assume I got it there. At first, when I started searching on Google (and others) I would be redirected to certain websites automatically. Some websites it will let me through but I've just started opening in new tab to bypass the redirection. When I try to get rid of the virus, it won't let me open up antivirus software (Norton, Spybot) already on my computer. And so I tried to download new software and it won't let me open those either. Sometimes it will mess up within the installation. My internet seems to be slower as well. At start up a lot of my programs don't start. In safe mode, Norton (which works in safe mode) doesn't find it and it only searches through a fraction of my actual files. So I was hoping you guys could help me. And I have a lot of stuff on my computer so I do not want to factory restore without getting all of them off first.

I see you have Viewpoint software installed.

Viewpoint Manager is considered as foistware instead of malware since it is installed without users approval but doesn't spy or do anything "bad". Read this article: here and here

I suggest you remove the program now.

Go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove the following programs if present.

• Viewpoint Manager (remove only)
  
• Viewpoint Media Player
  
• Viewpoint Toolbar
  

Next, please download ViewpointKiller by Prm753 from here.
Save it to a permanent folder (such as C:\ViewpointKiller) and unzip it there.
Open ViewpointKiller, and press the Start button.
A log will be produced in the same folder where you unzipped it to. Please post the contents of that log in your reply.


I notice that you have Spybot's TeaTimer running. While this is normally a wonderful tool to protect against hijackers, it can also interfere with HijackThis fixes. So please disable TeaTimer by doing the following:
1) Run Spybot-S&D
2) Go to the Mode menu, and make sure "Advanced Mode" is selected
3) On the left hand side, choose Tools -> Resident
4) Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts
You can reenable TeaTimer once your system is clean.

Please make sure Teatimer is disable before we do this, otherwise this fix will fail.

2. During the download, rename Combofix to Combo-Fix as follows:





3. It is important you rename Combofix during the download, but not after.
4. Please do not rename Combofix to other names, but only to the one indicated.
5. Close any open browsers.
6. We need to disable your local AV (Anti-virus) before running Combofix.
