spyware protect 2009

Please help, I am running windows xp and have spyware protect 2009 alert. It shows 2 threats:

Win32/Nuqel.E
BankerFox.A

I have not purchased their so-called virus protection. I wish to resolve this issue. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE

• Double click and run the installer.
  
• It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  
• After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  
• Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.
  

Hello Geek Police,
I ran Super Anti-Spyware yesterday and it removed the virus alerts I was receiving. I am sending this to you in case there is still anything still lurking around. I normally use Firefox but my updates for Windows wants to use Internet Explorer. I noticed that I am unable to use Internet Explorer to access microsoft.com. I keep getting a message that it cannot display the webpage. I know I am connected because Firefox works fine. This is the address that it redirects me to: http://browser-security.microsoft.com/blocked.php?r=17.4 Perhaps you can tell me what I need to do to fix this. Thank you, wavedev

1. If you are using Firefox, make sure that your download settings are as follows:

* Tools->Options->Main tab
* Set to "Always ask me where to Save the files".

2. During the download, rename Combofix to Combo-Fix as follows:





3. It is important you rename Combofix during the download, but not after.
4. Please do not rename Combofix to other names, but only to the one indicated.
5. Close any open browsers.
6. We need to disable your local AV (Anti-virus) before running Combofix.

• Double click on ComboFix.exe.
  
• Follow the prompts. NOTE:
  
• ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed.
  ***It's strongly recommended to have the Recovery Console installed before doing any malware removal.***

• Post C:\combofix.txt back here.

  Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.
  

I tried to download the combo-fix and my e-trust realtime monitor quarantined both links and it did not download. I then disabled the realtime and tried again but it says Page Load Error with this message: Firefox can't find the file at http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe. I was able to complete the Hijack This portion. Thanks for all your help! wavedev
