Did you uninstall AVG? Running two AV's isn't good. Having two soldiers might be a good thing, but these soldiers like to tear each other to pieces.

If you want Avast, uninstall AVG.

Yep i uninstalled AVG following the instrcutions given by Doctor Inferno in a post

So now i only have AVAST
