Here is my system report,
http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/viewscanbyid.aspx?id=E69CEB6831D926C3
according to this my 2x1 GB PC2700 333MHz DDR Memory is compatible with my CPU.
I tried several attempts to get it to work
1. took out my 2x128 that was in my white slots and replace with 2x1 GB
Result: CPU did not recognize the RAM therefore i could not even start up my computer.( Same thing happened when i put it in the black slots too).
2. i put my 2x128 and 2x1gb in all 4 slots but it only shows 256 in my system.

Im really confused why my 2x1 gb ram isn't working!!!!! CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLSSSSS!

I dont know much about hardware, but I think I may be able to help you.

Ram cards of the same size must be placed in matching slots.
Most systems(As well as mine...) have 4 slots.
1. White
2. Black
3. White
4. Black

And I think that smaller must go in first.

So if my info is correct, then your setup should look like this

1. 128
2. 1GB
3. 128
4. 1GB

I could be completely wrong about this...

The motherboard may take a while to recognise the RAM after startup. After using the computer for a few minutes, does this still happen?
