Programming Software HELP!!!!

plz guide me on 2 topics

1. I want to Learn programming, so is C++ the right software? if yes where to download the software and the guide
2. I am interested in ethical hacking, i need some guides on that

Ethical hacking... I'm not sure of anywhere to get guides, but I get most of my ethical hacking books from the library. Here's one I found with Google:

Moving To Programming

You say that you want to learn programming, but you never said which language. Some of the languages are so different from the others, that you have to deside which one is for you.

Try looking up popular programming languages, and you will find lots of tutorials.

Heres a small list of common programming languages, but there are a lot more.
Visual Basic
C
C#
C++
AutoIT
Python
Visual Basic.net

C++.net

This list should be enough to get you started. Hope this helps friend.

hmmm.....how about going for "C"....C is helpful for starters. But if you ask me, i don't think there's a lot of programming in hacking. networking is more appropriate to study. But i'm not sure myself, since i'm no hacker....yet we're on the same boat, i guess 'coz i also want to learn ethical hacking^^

i didn't know you were hackers.....i thought you were a network specialist or somethig....WOW! a hacker!....


ok 1st question...there are several tools needed for hacking. what are the "must have" for a hacker? no need to name a brand.
ex: desktop pc or any pc

So DOC should i contact u/Digital Clocksmith on PM or post in a forum for Ethical Hacking?

I'm not really a hacker, I read up on this to learn more about security etc.

Post it in the computer talk forum if you want to discuss about this. You need a few kind of tools if you want to do ethical hacking, password cracking softwares, vulnerability-assessment programs
to hardware-based network analysers etc.
