This tutorial will show you how to turn System Protection On and Off in Windows 7, also known as System Restore in the earlier version of Windows.
Click Start >> Right click Computer >> Click Properties.
Click on System Protection as shown:
Click on the hard disk partition, which you want to change System Protection settings.
Note: Windows 7 should be installed on the C drive by default. Mine is installed under a E because I am running a Dual Boot system.
Click on the Configure button as shown:
Select desired settings >> Click OK
