my acer e recovery isn't working ive tried all the key board combinations eg alt f10 hold f8 alt f8 nothing is working ?? any suggestions ???

Alt F10 should work. It should take you to the recovery partition.

Try holding the Alt key while tapping the F10.

Also try tapping the F8 key during startup.

btw: What's going on with your computer that makes you want to use the Recovery partition?
