My Mozilla Firefox is infected

I need help with my Dell laptop. I am currently running Windows7. Mozilla Firefox will not open. I recieved an error when I attempted to open the browser. What should I do?

What was the error you received?
Can you connect with other browsers? (IE,Chrome,Opera)
Try uninstalling and re-installing the firefox browser.

Chrome is not responding either. However, I can utilize IE. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no success

Have you checked the PC for malware. Update and run anti-virus scan.

What is the error message that you receive when attempting to open the browser?

Boot the PC into Safe Mode w/Networking and see if you have the same problems.
